June in Spain means the end of the school year, and with it also ends the first edition of the programme App education – mobilitzem la informàtica, a new secondary school subject that we’ve launched in January, and that finally recruited 200 schools joining the test program, in the framework of our mSchools educational programme.

We keep working now so in the following course 2014-15 it is possible to repeat (or even enlarge) this experience, but by now we’d like to show you a summary of what have been the first months of this experience. To start with, take a look at the video of the final app contest and award ceremony day:

On June 6th we gathered in Mataró’s TecnoCampus with the 125 students representing the 25 preselected projects of the programme. They enjoyed there of a whole afternoon with activities and convincing the judges and experts that their ideas where the most attractive and feasible. In the video you can see a preview of some of these projects, as well as all the winner apps.

To sum up the program we’ve also developed an infographic to show you on a visual style the main figures of the first year of this program. If you want more information about it don’t hesitate in visiting mSchools.mobileworldcapital.com or writing us at mSchools@mobileworldcapital.com.
