The Barcelona Mobile World Capital Foundation is willing to incorporate to its team an HR Manager.

The HR Manager will oversee the implementation and maintenance of HR processes, tools, programs, practices and people strategies in cooperation with top and line management.

Part of the HR Manager role is to advice and support line managers and HRBP’s on people related challenges, problem solving and decisions while ensuring legal compliance.

We look for someone who has the capability to understand the organization needs, to figure out what will be needed in the future, to search and find the solutions that better suits in the short, med and long term run, and design and run the HR systems in a smart, sustainable and scalable approach.

Candidates must be extremely self-motivated, driven and comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, fast in understanding, action oriented, and tech lover. This is not your typical HR role – but designed for top-tier talent who seek a consistent challenge.

Primary duties and Responsibilities:

Execution of HR Processes:

  • Total Rewards (facilitate and support salary review increase decisions; educate, train and advice managers and employees on Compensation & Benefits processes, tools and practices)
  • Talent Acquisition (employer branding activities; interviews for high level and complex roles; advice and coaching to line managers on Talent Acquisition processes and practices)
  • Talent Management (Implementation and execution of a performance management process; deliver training and coaching to managers and employees on Performance Management process; follow-up on employee engagement targets and actions; facilitate talent calibration; work with managers to put in place performance improvement programs)
  • Learning & Development (advice managers to identify learning needs and means to address them; implement & communicate learning processes and programs to managers and employees)
  • Human Resources Operations (ensure legal compliance on all HR topics; train, advice and coach line managers on HR Global Operations processes, tools and practices)

The HR Manager will work to build employee engagement and will manage key stakeholders ensuring labor law compliance, rules and regulations between the parts.

The HR Manager will also be a role model for positive cultural attitude, guiding the top and line managers to support culture change targets and align leadership practices to accelerate and sustain culture change gains. You will be a leader among peers developing an HR culture where initiative thrives, accountability is owned and team members are fully engaged.

Required skills and experience:

  • At least +5 years of professional experience in the HR field
  • Human Resources Knowledge & experience in; Compensation & Benefits; Talent Management & Recruitment.
  • Experience in HR Processes implementation is a plus.
  • Labor Relations, Laws and Legislation Knowledge. Knowledge on Public sector regulations is a plus.
  • Good skills in presenting and communicating information
  • Action Oriented
  • Delivering Results & Meeting Customer Expectations with a consultative approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in Spanish & English is a must
