Our team is growing!
The Mobile World Capital is getting stronger every day. Our executive team, headed by GSMA Ltd.’s CEO, John Hoffman, and Fira de Barcelona’s CEO, Agustín Cordón, has chosen the people who will take the helm of this exciting project.
Ginés Alarcón, who has already been working for the Capital for several months, is our new CEO. Ginés has extensive experience in the Telco industry and also leads the CTecno Foundation. As you can read with all detail on our latest press release, the Capital’s Head of Strategy is Juan Manuel Barrionuevo, who has joined our team after 12 years at Telefonica. Oscar Pallarols and Aleix Valls are also on board. They both come from Accenture, and have long careers in consultancy and engineering. Oscar will lead the Hub Competence Centres, where we will work to transform different industries through mobile technologies, and Aleix will be in charge of the Hub Capabilities and the Mobile World Festival.
Our team is still small, keeping a reduced and agile structure but is working hard on many lines, planning new projects, closing new partnerships and much more. Many interesting news and surprises are coming up very soon, so please stay close…
