NASA "Make Space" 2022 presents 23 challenges to engineering and science students as well as graduates with or without experience in Barcelona. ¡Save the weekend of October 1st and 2nd and come to MWCapital Barcelona headquarters!
A global event
On October 1st and 2nd, thousands of people arround the world gather to celebrate the biggest hackathon in the world. Last year, NASA hosted more than 28.000 participants from 162 countries and territories. NASA and its 9 associated space agencies approached 28 challenges and produced 2.814 projects.
This year's claim is "there's always space for one more" and the challenges for this edition are published in their website. A selection of participant teams from Barcelona and Madrid will have the chance to participate in the world final.
Participants and teams
Space Apps participants have in common their interest for our planet and the universe using science, technology and creativity, as well as their will to learn. Every age, every skill level and professional experience is welcome.
The global community of this hackathon adopts the collaboration without frontiers, sectors or cultures to approach problems of the real world on Earth and space, using the open and free data from the NASA.
Space Apps teams are made up from 2 to 5 members, and the most successful use to be the ones that mix skills and experiences such as computing science, engineering, marketing and science, for example.
