Instructions:

To be part of the Teen Fact-Checking Network Scholarship you must register through this form. In order to get to know you better, we ask you to attach a video presentation in vertical format (max. 1 minute) where you tell us who you are, why you are interested in fact-checking and what motivates you to be part of this project. Let your creativity flow!

Some tips for your video:

  • Set up in a place with no background noise and make sure you can be heard well.

  • Don’t fuss with language. This is not a classroom presentation, express yourself as you do in your day-to-day life . Less is more!

  • Try to vocalize and remember that nonverbal language is as important as verbal.

  • Use labels or images to complement what you say, but without getting in the way.

  • Edit the video as if it were a TikTok: pleasant, dynamic, and entertaining – make as many cuts as you want!

  • Explain what you know about fact-checking and why you want to be part of TFCN.

  • Convince us that you are the right person for this project!

  • Please note that the criteria for the evaluation of the proposals will be: motivation with the project, knowledge about fact-checking and misinformation, structure of the script, voice-over, and the quality of the recording and editing of the video.
