Barcelona, 23 February 2020 – Nearly 300 representatives of the digital and entrepreneurial ecosystem met today in La Boqueria market at the Mobile Networking Lunch, organised by Mobile World Capital Barcelona. The President of the Regional Government of Catalonia, Quim Torra; the First Deputy Mayor of Barcelona for Economy, Employment, Competitiveness and Taxation, Jaume Collboni; the Secretary of State for Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence, Carme Artigas; the CEO of Mobile World Capital Barcelona, Carlos Grau, and the CEO of Barcelona Tech City, Miquel Martí, were among those who took part. The backdrop for the meeting was La Boqueria market, which this year is celebrating its 180th anniversary.
The Mobile Networking Lunch represented the starting shot for Tech Spirit Barcelona, sessions on entrepreneurship and innovation that were established spontaneously upon the cancellation of 4YFN and MWC. They are organised jointly by Barcelona Tech City, Mobile World Capital Barcelona, Barcelona City Hall, the Regional Government of Catalonia, the Zona Franca Consortium, Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, the Government of Spain and other entities from the startup community.
