- The two entities signed a collaboration agreement with regard to the audiovisual sector and mobile technologies
May 26, 2014
The Mobile World Capital Barcelona (MWCB) Foundation and the Catalonian Audiovisual Council (CAC) signed a framework collaboration agreement today with a view to promoting the new communication services made possible by mobile technology.
The agreement was signed by the president of the CAC, Roger Loppacher, and the vice-president of MWCB, Agustín Cordón, at the headquarters of the Catalonian regulatory authority. The document calls for collaboration between both entities, built around three axes: a commitment to analysis and knowledge of the sector, the promotion of meetings and dialogue between agents in the ecosystem, and the promotion of measures to safeguard the rights of users, especially minors, in relation to new audiovisual communication services based on mobile technology.
MWCB will also participate in the CAC’s Communication Forum, its last editions held at the Mobile World Centre, Mobile World Capital Barcelona’s exhibition and informational facility, which also serves as a meeting point for citizens.
