Mobile World Capital Barcelona has an exhibition space at MWC Barcelona designed to showcase the most relevant technological trends and position Barcelona as a global innovation hub. At MWC25, the foundation presents “Living in Tech”, an immersive experience that demonstrates how the coexistence between people and technology is transforming key sectors such as mobility, education, and health. This annual initiative, presented for the first time at the congress, extends to all MWCapital projects, strengthening the connection between the event and the city.
This year, MWCapital’s stand at MWC 2025 focuses on Society 5.0, a people-centric model that integrates technologies such as AI, big data, and IoT to improve people’s quality of life and address challenges such as sustainability, social inclusion, and the aging population.
In this framework, we present solutions in an urban context of efficient logistics and transport, automation and equal access to opportunities, exploring how technology influences our daily habits and behaviours.
Artificial intelligence and data science are revolutionizing the way we understand and improve the world around us. In this roundtable, in collaboration with CaixaBank, we will explore how these advanced technologies integrate into our daily lives to promote more sustainable habits. Through a specific use case—a carbon footprint calculator developed by the bank—we will discover how this initiative enables users to measure the environmental impact of their consumption and receive personalized recommendations to reduce it, optimizing resources and actively contributing to a more sustainable future.
