Mobile World Capital Barcelona reinforces the positioning of Barcelona as a global benchmark in technology and innovation in the framework of MWC25, with an edition marked by activity, collaboration, and the promotion of the digital ecosystem.

Once again this year, Mobile World Capital Barcelona is promoting initiatives that go beyond the event, bringing technology closer to society and generating new opportunities for the digital ecosystem.

In this edition, we present new features such as Talent Arena, a space designed to connect talent and innovation, along with immersive experiences and parallel activities that expand the impact of the event in the city.

In this new edition of MWC Barcelona 2025, the MWCapital stand becomes a great place to discover and experiment with emerging technologies that improve our lives.

We complete the technological journey begun in previous editions: after feeling and applying the technology, this year we go one step further to live it. We are transforming our main space into a true digital agora, a meeting point where the innovations that are defining Society 5.0 converge, where advanced digital technology is fully integrated into our daily lives to improve them.

This year we are projecting Barcelona as a great living laboratory of technological solutions with a humanist perspective, promoting a balance between social well-being, environmental sustainability and economic growth.

To this end, we are once again collaborating with the IAAC (Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia) to design the iconic space at MWC that will host all these experiences and activities.

MWCapital, as a central innovation player in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain and Europe, promoted 11 years ago the creation of 4YFN as a meeting place for the ecosystem at MWC Barcelona, with content and activities aimed exclusively at scientists, entrepreneurs, investors and startups. Thus, it stands out with its own stand at 4YFN, where more than 20 activities are planned in its auditorium aimed at the entrepreneurial community, including presentations of projects and startups, round tables with experts and much more.

It also focuses on 7 Deep Tech startups created through its Venture Building programme, The Collider, as well as 10 Next Generation Internet projects belonging to the initiative funded by the European Commission, NGI Sargasso, where MWCapital is a partner. You will be able to meet them in the ‘Startup corner’ next to the stand.

After the successful pilot at MWC24, the first edition of Talent Arena brings together developers, leading technology companies and educational centres to promote learning, networking and professional growth in the digital sphere.

Among the more than 200 confirmed speakers are figures such as Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, and Xavier Amatriain, vice president of Google, as well as technology communicators such as Nate Gentile and Dot CSV.

Topics will include artificial intelligence, software engineering, cloud computing, cybersecurity, quantum technology and NewSpace. The GSMA Open Gateway Hackathon and DevCon Summit will also be held, focusing on developers and the potential of network APIs.

The aim is to consolidate Barcelona as a global benchmark in the digital sector and attract international talent.

Aimed at all MWC25 and 4YFN attendees, the fourth edition of BEAT BARCELONA will combine an offer of content, networking, and gastronomy linked to the spirit and brand of Barcelona. This space will allow the city’s assets to be showcased and showcased, contributing to its economic promotion.

The BEAT BARCELONA 2025 concept aims to connect congress participants with Barcelona’s way of doing things. It is also the official after work of the MWC and a networking space open to all visitors.
