Joan Laporta explores digital Barcelona through the five senses with Mobile World Capital Barcelona

The president of Futbol Club Barcelona, Joan Laporta, visited the Mobile World Capital Barcelona stand as part of the MWC Barcelona 2023 celebrations. The CEO of Mobile World Capital Barcelona, Francesc Fajula, accompanied him on his tour of the ‘Feel The Technology’ initiative, which takes visitors on a journey through the Catalan capital through new technologies, such as augmented reality and the metaverse.

Laporta has been able to smell, from a distance, the grass of the Spotify Camp Nou thanks to AirParfum, Puig’s technology. He has also experienced the smell, among others, of Park Güell, the hot chocolate of Petritxol street or a flower shop in Las Ramblas in Barcelona. The President of Futbol Club Barcelona tasted one of the three chocolates designed by the Roca Brothers, and put himself in the shoes of the archer Andrés Rebollo to practice archery and light the cauldron of the Barcelona 92 Olympic Games in the Montjuïc stadium.
