The New York headquarters of IESE Business School hosted today the Mobile World Capital Barcelona official launch in the U.S. The event, with more than a hundred attendees, filled the capacity of the conference room. The presentation was headed by Xavier Trias, Mayor of Barcelona, and Agustí Cordón, one of the two Executive Vice Presidents of the Mobile World Capital Barcelona (also CEO of Fira de Barcelona). Representatives of large companies in the telecommunications sector (such as Time Warner Cable and AT&) and the banking sector (such as Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan) attended the event to learn about the technological opportunities that the Mobile World Capital Barcelona has to offer.
“We are not talking about any particular sector: the unlimited opportunities offered by technology, particularly those related to mobility, generate benefits for the whole industry ecosystem with no exception”, highlighted Agustí Cordón.
