Protecting your privacy means continuing our commitment to transparency in the use of your personal data. 2. PURPOSES: For what purpose do we process your personal data?

In compliance with the provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”), as well as Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights (“LOPDGDD”), we inform you that at MWCapital we process your personal data for the following purposes:

  1. 1. To send commercial communications via email or via WhatsApp with informational or promotional content related to the activities, initiatives, or programs offered by MWCapital.  
  2. 2. To address your job application submitted through our website and manage current and future selection processes at MWCapital.  
  3. 3. To respond to emails received at our corporate email addresses in order to maintain institutional relationships with entities, organizations, or companies, as well as with the individuals who work or collaborate with them, or their legal representatives. 
  4. 4. To manage your registration and attendance at events or courses promoted or organized by MWCapital, as well as the management of institutional invitations to events promoted or organized by MWCapital or third parties.  
  5. 5. To manage and promote the activities, initiatives, or programs, including the capture and use of photographs and videos across various MWCapital media and social media platforms, for professional purposes and without commercial use. 
  6. 6. To address your inquires and provide advice on carrying out public procedures, such as scheduling an appointment for the national ID (DNI), or private procedures.

4. LEGITIMATION: What is the legal basis for the processing of your personal data?

The legal bases for the processing of your personal data corresponding to each of the purposes included in section 2 above (“Purposes”) are as follows:

Your personal data will not be transferred to any third party, except to public bodies and authorities in those cases in which a legal regulation establishes it; likewise, we inform you that your personal data may be communicated to the following categories of processors: providers of commercial communications, forms, web platform, CRM, payment management, event management/registration, office automation, computer maintenance and development, management, accounting, auditing, legal advice and Representation, opinions or judgments on certain internal promotion and hiring decisions. Some of these data processors may be located outside the European Economic Area, in which case, MWCapital will ensure that the countries receiving the data have received an adequacy decision from the European Commission or, if not, that the corresponding standard clauses are subscribed.

Occasionally, MWCapital organises events in collaboration with other third parties, in which case we may act in relation to the processing of personal data as independent or joint controllers. This condition will be reported in each case. In particular, the data collected in the forms available on our website for the management of invitations to the Mobile World Congress event will be shared with GSMA, Ltd. to proceed with your registration, on the basis of legitimacy in the execution of the contract. 6. RIGHTSWhat are your rights and how can you exercise them? 

At any time, you have the right to access your personal data, as well as to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

In certain circumstances, you may request the limitation of the processing of your data, in which case we will only keep them for the exercise or defense of claims.

In certain circumstances and for reasons related to your particular situation, you may object to the processing of your data. MWCapital will stop processing the data, except for compelling legitimate reasons, or the exercise or defense of possible claims.

You can also exercise the right to data portability, as well as withdraw the consent provided at any time, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal.
