All of us at Mobile World Capital Barcelona are deeply saddened by the cancellation of MWC Barcelona 2020. Our commitment to the city of Barcelona, its citizens, our ecosystem and the digital industry remains strong.
We will continue to work throughout the year to consolidate Barcelona as the mobile world capital and position the city as a global digital hub. All activities planned for February that can be developed beyond the fair, as well as other initiatives such as the Digital Future Society working session and Mobile Week, will be held as planned. MWCapital projects will continue in 2020 with the objective of driving digital advancement in the fields of innovation, technology development, talent and its impact on our society.
This is possible thanks to the continued support of our board members and collaborators, with whom we have built the foundations of a legacy that enables us to face the future with confidence.
