She holds an advanced Telecommunications Engineering degree and a Master’s in Business Management and has more than 20 years of experience managing the information and operations technology areas, leading operational transformation and new business launch projects in multinationals.
She is the General Manager at Alastria, the blockchain consortium, with more than 540 pestigious members form industry, the public sector and academia in Spain. Alastria is also a key stakeholder in launching the International Association for Trusted Blockchain Technologies (INATBA).
She has served as the COO in as an information technology consultancy in South America and was in charge of implementing and delivering information technology services at 4 Olympics Games, Pan-American GAmes and several world championships and UN summits. Montse regularly works with social innovation programmes. She is the president of the Quantum Blockchain Alliance.

Carlos Grau

Industrial Engineer by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and PDD by IESE, Carlos Grau has a long career in the field of communication and information technologies, as well as in the development of digital business. After holding various sales and marketing management positions in companies in the ICT sector such as Hewlett-Packard, Accenture, Sun Microsystems or Telefonica, Grau joined Microsoft as general manager in Catalonia.
In recent years, Carlos Grau has focused his activity in the field of innovation, where he has led projects such as Biid, a startup focused on mobile identity, or Step One Ventures, a venture capital that invests in technology companies with high potential of growth. Grau has also been a mentor for entrepreneurs through Barcelona Activa or the Startupbootcamp IoT and Data acceleration program, promoted in collaboration with MWCapital.

Ms Cristina Colom has developed her professional career in the fields of corporate communication, marketing, brand and reputation, media, and crisis management. She combines extensive experience in multilateral organisations such as the European Commission and the UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), along with a long career in both the public administration (Generalitat de Catalunya) and large corporations such as the international energy company Shell. She holds a degree in Economics by the University of Barcelona, MA in European Affairs by the University of Exeter and a post-degree on Community Management and Social Media by the IL3-UB.
Cristina is currently leading Digital Future Society, an initiative from Mobile World Capital Barcelona supported by the Spanish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation that seeks to build an inclusive, equitable and sustainable future in the digital era.

Jordi Arrufí has been the director of the Digital Talent Programme at MWCapital since October 2017. He has been on the Mobile World Capital team since 2016, and during this time he has spearheaded digital transformation projects with a social impact. During his career, he has worked for companies like PwC, specialising in operations projects in large organisations and in strategic consulting with SMEs and startups. Arrufí is currently a professor in the Master’s in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the TecnoCampus Mataró (UPF) and in the Master’s in Digital Transformation and Leadership at the Barcelona Technology School (BTS).
