EAE Business School Barcelona and Mobile World Capital Barcelona (MWCapital) have signed a collaboration agreement to support Barcelona Digital Talent’s agenda, MWCapital’s program aimed at tackling the digital talent gap thus promoting market competitiveness. EAE is a benchmark business school in Barcelona which belongs to Planeta Formación y Universidades, the international Higher Education network of Planeta Group which offers data, innovation and digitalization training.
With the new agreement, both organizations intend to promote training in digital skills, as well as developing and attracting digital talent to Barcelona, thus bridging the digital gap.
Francesc Fajula, CEO of Mobile World Capital Barcelona; Jordi Arrufí, director of the Digital Talent program at MWCapital; Carlos Giménez, president of EAE Business School and CEO Planeta Formación y Universidades; and Jose Luis Fernández, general director of EAE Business School Barcelona attended the agreement signing.
EAE Business School is a leading organization in the areas of innovation and entrepreneurship with strong links to the business sector, research and knowledge partners and associations, and in search of relevant players such as MWCapital to boost its strategic goals.
Fajula pointed out that “to promote the economic and social development of our country, connecting the strategic sectors acting as a lever of change with training programs is essential .” He added that “talent needs accompaniment in accordance with the needs of a market in constant change, which is why agreements such as this, which foster direct connection between companies, training centers and professionals are essential.”
Giménez highlighted that “training connected to the productive sector, that creates the talent society needs, is part of the intrinsic values of EAE and the rest of Planeta Formación y Universidades schools.”
