WorldStartup is a global entrepreneurship platform that speeds up transition to fair, sustainable societies by giving support to startups and entrepreneurs in all their processes, from the initial idea to scalability. Its global group of support organizations offer training for innovators with specific objectives, tools, resources, and networks.

According to Carlos Grau, CEO of Mobile World Capital Barcelona “Spain is an European benchmark for the development of 5G pilot projects, which will be crucial in the exploration of future applications. The agreement with WorldStartup will enable us to give a more international scope to these shared projects based on its proven experience in entrepreneurship and innovation”.

Health and smart mobility as key areas

The two entities will work together on health and smart mobility projects that have proven to be priorities and of great growth at the moment. Technology can allow a better health system, favoring interconnectivity between centers and professionals, consultations between specialists, remote surgeries, etc. The pandemic has also forced to rethink city models from the point of view of mobility. Work is being done to reduce private traffic, giving more prominence to public transport and offering new spaces to citizens, while continuing to promote the connected car.
